IMMIGRANTS make up almost one in five of all murder and rape suspects an investigation has revealed.


In London, of the 547 people charged with rape in the past 12 months, 174 were non-UK citizens.


They included immigrants from Afghanistan, Angola, Ghana, Macedonia, Russia, Zimbabwe and Chile.


The nations whose individuals were charged the most frequently with rape in the capital were Jamaica, 19 suspects, Nigeria, 11, Poland, ten, and Australia, nine. Also in London, a total of 197 people were charged with murder — including 40 immigrants.


Other areas, particularly in the South are similar.

Why do we find it so difficult to stop this? Many are not European so why can we not keep them out and why do we fail to boot them out when we do get them?

No doubt I will be pilloried and hed up as a "Little Englander" or the usual Racist, but surely enough is enough?

And I am waiting on the Guadianisters to pooh pooh it becuase it is the Sun that have bothered to find this out.

So 373 rapes are still committed by johhny whiteperson as are 4 out of 5 crimes!!

I find it quite depressing to think that 4/5 of murders, rapes, etc are committed by people fortunate enough to have been brought up in this country, with all the 'advantages' it has offered to them.

These stats appear to be largely for London where the proportion of immigrants is much higher than for elsewhere in the uk. Therefore the proportion of immigrants who commit crimes is going to be higher as well.

It depends on the underlying proportions. If 1/5 of the general population are immigrants then equal proportions of immigrants and british are found guilty and hence there is no difference. As with so many similar stories in the press, only half of the information is provided.

We could always create an addendum, to this question, and ask what is it about Men (whom I presume make up the majority of the rapists?), and especially home-grown ones, which makes them think that committing rape is, in any way shape or form, an acceptable use of their time?

We have allowed this to happen because we let people from other countries into our own. If we stopped this practice then all our murderers and rapists would be home grown. Does that make it any better for you?

In Kent, a staggering 53 per cent of the 17 murder suspects were non-UK citizens, including four people from India and three from Romania.

All of you appologists seem to be missing the point that we are stuck with our homegrown ones (and yest they are a problem) but weshld be able to prevent criminal immigrants coming in, far simpler.

Point of order "suspect" not convictions there are 8 million people in London and it is one of the most cosmopolitain cities in the world.

Rape is a disgusting and abhorrent crime but I would suggest that The Australian Rupert Murdoch is using his newspaper to score points.

I note they obtained these figures by the freedom of information act, however the source is not quoted, unless I missed, and is therefore unverifiable, so what are they not telling us?

Well it doesn't tell us how many of the 547 rapes where committed against immigrants for a start nor how many were murdered.

This isn't politic i'm asking for verifiable data.

So in short, according to Ausse facist, in a population of 8m .000022% were "suspected" of rape and .000005% of murder printed with out any form of verifiable data.

As always, those who do not want to face up to an unconvenient truth will twist and turn and throw up all sorts of figures and statistics to try and blur the original point that is trying to be made, in this case a disproportionate number of rapists are immigrants. They never ever want to admit that any minority can ever do any wrong.

The link I have given from a reputable source states the non-UK foreign born percentage population of Inner London is 42%.
Which of these two statistics do you have difficulty with?

I only just about managed to scrape a C at O'Level maths (and that was partly because I was sleeping with my maths teacher), but surely if the percentage of a city is say 40%, and 1 in 5 rapes/murders are perpetrated by 'immigrants', it actually means that proportionally, British born subjects are more likely to be rapists and murderers?

Genuinely not trying to twist anything...just trying to get my head round the numbers.
