I'm going to sound SO smug, but I said a couple of years ago that there should be a celebration of British music because for such a small island, we produce an awful lot of world class artist.

That music section was just bloody brilliant.

Okay, I have to admit that the athletes entering the stadiums less than thrilling, but I honestly think that the ceremony has been magical.

The Beijing ceremony was amazing, but this one seems to have more heart (and I suppose) more relevance to me as a Brit.
