Many of these people came from a village society and were so insular that mixing with members of another village could be frowned upon.
Its not surprising that they often regard us and our lifestyle as heinous.

Well things have moved a long way since that BBC News report way back in 2004.
They are very much against British society and clearly follow their Pakistani background. They even attempted arrange marriage for their daughter.
A pity that the penalties for their heinous crime weren't dished out by Pakistan legal system.
