The Glorious Revolution, in England probably forgotten by all except for historians. Here the echoes from its final battle, The Boyne, still ring in our ears, especially on 12th July.
As well as numerous other dates.

Given it was such a glorious Protestant victory it is interesting to note that King William received backing from the Pope at the time, or so I'm told, History never was my strong point.
