Has learning difficulties but does have an ability to 'regret what she did'. In other words, knows right from wrong.

Those that know my views on things can guess what I think should happen to her. Anyone else's thoughts?

Her lawyer said that she regretted what she did. Whether she did or not is debatable. Judging from the pictures of the boyfriend and her they don't look to be at the worst end of the 'learning difficulties' spectrum. They're probably just two pieces of human dirt that don't care about anything.

Fewer animals would be harmed
Cruelty to animals, even cats, is beyond me
///Fewer animals would be harmed.///

Really?

And what kind of environment would we live in if all animals were allowed to roam wild with no human involvement?
//And what kind of environment would we live in if all animals were allowed to roam wild with no human involvement? //

What does that have to do with humans keeping pets?

@Kerosene - Yeh I came close to throwing something at her. She's like that. A disabled man that lived near her died. She argued the (council) house would go to more deserving people now.

Unfortunately, I practice what I preach. I'm all for free speech and what she says is her view, despite me not agreeing with virtually all that comes out of her mouth.
Howard,

I don't know if you're being serious or you just like to be argumentative because I find your question totally pointless. The fact exists - just like many millions of animals do in the world - that, it's not so much a case of "why" as one of "must" because the animals simply cannot look after themselves - can they?

Anyway, now that I've addressed that ultra important point, try answering the one I made to you a couple of posts back, eh?

And try smiling as well..... oh, go on, don't worry, your face won't crack - maybe?
Goodness me, Howard. Keep up. If all animals in the world were left to roam wild and humans not allowed to care for them, there would be a lot of things different to what we are used to. No doubt there would be savagery and disease to name just two disadvantages.
grffindoor,

Wow, your partner's relative sounds about as caring as old Howard on here? I'd definitely have cuffed them round the ear, the uncaring individual.

It's bad enough if something horrible happens to the able bodied, but the weak, infirm and helpless must somehow be protected, and perpetrators punished - properly!
I read this story this morning and was going to post it but changed my mind as it was so awful, plus we already had the ghastly story of Cody who has now died of her injuries after being set alight.
The misery of that poor puppy cannot be imagined, unloved, uncared for, starving, filthy, neglected, lying in its own filth, probably without a moment of joy in its short life.
Next week there will be another horror story involving some helpless animal and it makes me sick to my stomach.
@ K

It's late and I am stopping soon.

//because the animals simply cannot look after themselves - can they? //

I have no idea what that means. Which 'the animals' are you talking about?

My view, based on long time observation, is that no human keeps an animal as a pet for the benefit of the animal ergo no human should be allowed to have a pet animal.
ladybirder,

I didn't realise that poor little Cody had passed away - I feel devastated because I saw something about her a few days ago suggesting that she might have been improving?

There are some real barstewards in this world right enough!!!
Howard - give me strength. If animals were not domesticated they would be wild. Which part of that don't you understand?

Imagine animals scavenging in YOUR domestic refuse. Sounds good, eh?
@ SP

Domesticated does not equal pet.
Yes K, they were reports that she had improved but it was too much for her in the end. She had been burnt to the bone in parts of her hind quarters. Too awful to think about.

@Kerosene No she is not caring. She's evil. When her husbands father died she spent the money put aside for much of the funeral as a deposit on a new kitchen. 'He's dead, this is reality'. That's the nice version of what she said. Her and the woman in the story make a right pair.
Boo: re "Why did it take the RSPCA 7 months to do anything? They should be accountable too., despicable organisation".
Just a reminder - they're also a charity, I assume you're a regular contributor.
Newspapers like the Daily Bogroll and The Scum are expert in twisting facts, inciting irrational emotional responses and appealing to angry morons - anyone want to confess anything ?
Now, now AP, take pill and calm down. Us angry morons can't afford to be upset at our time of life!
Howard,

You cannot be as thick as you're making out? I reckon you just like being totally obtuse, winding us up.

Enough's enough...I have some animals to care for. Try it sometime, Howard, you might like it?
Howard - for your perusal.

Domesticated

(1) Domesticated pets are the most common types of pet. A domesticated animal is any animal that has been tamed and made fit for a human environment. They have consistently been kept in 'captivity' over a long enough period of time that they exhibit marked differences in behavior and appearance from their wild relatives.

(2) do·mes·ti·cate
(verb)
domesticated, past participle; domesticated, past tense; domesticates, 3rd person singular present; domesticating, present participle

Tame (an animal) and keep it as a pet or for farm produce

No doubt you will disagree again.
