Most likely dotty, they had trouble moooooving the animal.

The trouble with cows is that they can climb up a tree ok, but their hooves can't get any grip when they're trying to climb down. So they just sit there mooing.

I wasted quite a few minutes trying to work out how a cow cold end up in a tree before opening the link. My best guess was that it must've been caught in a mini-tornado.

Cow gum can be tricky

They always try and go forwards to get down again.
They're too stupid to realise they need to climb backwards to get a proper grip, same way as they got up there.
