Is Youtube moderated?
Fox News have made an apology for a suicide that was broadcast live. In my opinion Youtube is irresponsible to allow it to be posted. It should be pulled immediately.

There is a source of vile obscene filth to which all members of the human race are exposed at same time in their lives but noone in the world has any power to stop it. It hurts children and the elderly and rich and poor alike and does not discriminate amongst race either. It can cause lasted mental damage but no doctor can cure it. What is this vile source of harm?

Most parts of Youtube like this are age-restricted, and you need an account to log on (which to be fair isn't exactly hard to fake). Videos became age restricted when they're flagged by users and/or screened by moderators - so yes, youtube is moderated.
I disagree that it should be pulled - the almost limitless freedom enjoyed by the internet in the West is worth it, in my view. The suicide occurred in the public domain, and if people want to see it they are commiting no crime. Nor should they be.
