Although I disliked Jimmy Saville during his life time, is it fair that all these allegations are now coming to the surface now he is dead?

He didn't donate his own money to charity. He 'donated' his name and his time to persuading others to donate to good causes.

I am not given to being swayed by 'no smoke without fire' arguments, but there are just too many girls, from too many parts of the country coming forwards with very similar stories for this to be simple coincidence......or a conspiracy.

ummmm is right, they were different times with different morals and different rules. When I was 18yr I lost my job when I reported that one of the bosses had groped me, unfair but we just got on with it.
