Luckily ... Tower 7 was the ONLY nearby building that was structurally undermined!
Unluckily, Tower 7 housed the US anti terrorist security records relating to the Twin Towers. So when Tower 7 "fell down", the records showing who knew what before 9/11 were destroyed.

It is at least possible that the security services knew about the 9/11 plot and, rather than prevent it, chose to exploit it in order to justify the invasion that they had already planned (along with Tony B), but had been advised that there was no legal basis for it.
I think that if everyone blandly accepts the official story, and turns a blind eye to some odd inconsistencies, then we are betraying all the people who lost their lives on 9/11, in Iraq, and in Afghanistan.
Although, I keep forgetting ... gorernments never lie, do they.
