Tebbit has always struck me as someone who would rather enjoy being cruel.

I fear it is a case of the the pot calling the kettle with Tebbit.

When he was in power the Government was labelled "uncaring" but it didn't matter has they hade a very large majority, so Tebbit ignored it.

Poor Dave couldn't win for the Conservatives and has no majority. So any unflattering label, if it sticks, is going to be damaging.

The Chingford Polecat was another unflattering label, but it hasn't done him any harm.

He's still a very canny, visceral politician though and I seriously think he's spot on in his analysis of their business management failings.

Following the backbench revolt over Mitchell, Dave must be in real bother if a grandee like Tebbit's putting the boot in as well.

Dave was in real bother when the Conservatives failed to win the election. It was bound to be downhill from their. Tebbit is sticking the boot in, because that is what Tebbit has always done.
