AOG
You asked 'Would They Have Dared To Have Done This, Had They Been Gay?'
lil_billym has provided you with a link indicating that the venue advertises itself as one for civil partnerships. Which is a post you have completely ignored, presumably because it clashes with your 'everybody has it in for me/is a member of the PC conspiracy' worldview.
It's very admirable to have your own thoughts, AOG. Everyone should. Nobody should follow the crowd just for the sake of following the crowd. But I'd put it to you that everyone should hold their opinions to the standards of reason and whether they make sense or not. Which is something I've yet to see any evidence that you have ever done.
It's easy to say you disagree with lots of other people - and pose yourself as some kind of free thinker.
Anyone can do that, AOG. A 12-year-old can do that. Disagreeing with something just because other people think it is no less irrational than agreeing with something just because everyone else thinks it.
What's hard is explaining why everyone else is mistaken in a way that is intellectually credible. That's what a real 'free thinker' does. That's the mark of genuine insight, intelligence, and moral courage. And based on your tenure at AB, I don't think that's a challenge you're capable of facing. To my mind, this thread is a small addition to the mountain of evidence to that effect.
