Plenty of money - adulation by the public for the charity work he did (while living the good life himself) and freedom to assault young people with no adverse effect on himself. The people who should be being charged are the ones who let him get away with it when they knew it was happening. It is too late to do anything to the perpetrator - if there is a life after death he is there laughing at all of us and planning what he is going to do in his next incarnation. That is what makes me annoyed - that he should get away with it with no punishment and also that I feel so helpless to do anything.
I totally agree with Mick-Talbot, there are bigger fish out there who should at least be in the 'keep net'.
Very strange that all this has come to the surface now that the guilty one is dead, how many of the present 'pop stars' are taking advantage of their 'celebrity' status, so as to abuse some of their fans?
