Apart from getting the weight of that is?

This is now getting rediculous. People still starving in the world and yet we have these monsters.

Dont get me wrong, I am no slim jim but getting to this size then expecting others to pay dearly for your actions is becoming nuts and needs to stop.

i tend to agree, they need educating about food first, and a good sensible plan for dieting.
Nox is right - the NHS should only treat healthy people.
I find it hard to believe that many people are obese due to depression. If that`s the case, depression must be more prevalent in the UK and US because you don`t see many of these huge people in other parts of the world. I wonder if they would be so big if they had to pay privately for health care? It`s all down to education at the end of the day. Maybe a good lecture and a diet sheet every time they go to the docs might be in order. Then again, they`d probably all scream "discrimination" and sue for hurt feelings if that were the case.
are you sure you have never seen pictures of rather large women in other parts of the world, Africa perhaps and India, because i have. I only have to look around me, it's not just white lasses who are obese.
Of course there are em, just not in the numbers you see here.
our doctors do lecture their patients, with leaflets in the surgery and a quiet word when you go in for a check up. There is one thing being a few pounds overweight, however chronic obesity causes so many more problems.
My godmother died because she ignored the doctors advice, she had diabetes which led to a heart attack.
em.......African woman have got big bums, but on the whole do not come close to the Western Gal.......in my experience.
Sqad I remember when I was about 19 and I was by a river in Africa where all the women were doing their washing. They were all in traditional robes and I thought those bug lumps behind them were where they kept their washing.
i tend to disagree on that score, London is littered with black and white people who are obese, not just having a rather large derrière..
237......LOL..
I meant "big" lumps, not bug lumps though but you get my drift
Squad; You mean Steatopygia, what a lovely word.
personally i like the pic in the news report; surely thats not a pedometer she's checking!
pene....did I ? I have heard or steatorrhoea.......but not your word.....fabulous.
<large women in other parts of the world, Africa perhaps and India>

<London is littered with black and white people who are obese>

Clearly two different things em

African women in Africa are much less likely to be obese than westerners.

People living western lifestyles (of any race) are much more likely.

This seems to be particularly the case where people are genetically unaccustomed to a western diet but adopt one over just a few generations

e.g. native americans have one of the highest incidences of obesity
Squad; yes there is such a word/condition. I once heard it was allied to the fat/adipose tissue stored in the humps of Camels, i.e to store water. I believe some Bantu women are Steatopygiacs.
so you don't think African women in any part of Africa can be obese?
it would seem then i am the only one who watches the news, programmes on Africa, documentaries, and countless other programmes which feature women of larger proportions. The same is said of the African women i see in London, i doubt if they eat junk food so much as having builds that are somewhat hefty. In many cultures women of larger proportions are admired
I was having chemo one day at christies, when the girl in the next bed gathered her drips and and started to walk out, a guy close by said you are not going smoking are you, feck off was the reply,i'm the anti smoking counsellor and here to help you or you could lose your right to treatment, feck off.
owdhammer, your quote is a bit confusing?
You are a rather unfeeling individual, perhaps you should not be treated.
