What a tragic story, a teenage British soldier, waiting in Cyprus for deployment to Afghanistan, allegedly stabbed to death by three British pass-port holders.
He and his fellow soldiers may have been disobeying military rules, but did this young man deserve to be killed?

but until we know the details of the fight he got into it's impossible to pass any judgement.
BTW why do you try and exaggerate the circumstances by saying he was <stabbed to death by three British pass-port holders.>
are you suggesting they all had knives or that they each took a turn with the same knife?
In reality, the article in your link says nothing of the sort:
<<During the confrontation one of the three drew what is believed to be a knife>>
So there was one knife assaillant who had two others with him.
And the stabbed man had three others with him.
Did you mis-describe the story deliberately to make it sound even worse that it is?

/// BTW why do you try and exaggerate the circumstances by saying he was <stabbed to death by three British pass-port holders.> ///
Crikey you are being over pedantic.
I thought at time when I put 'three' British pass-port holders instead of a British pass-port holder, but I didn't think anyone would be so 'nit picky' as to take me to task over it.
/// are you suggesting they all had knives or that they each took a turn with the same knife? ///
I also though no one would be so unintelligent enough to think that three had stabbed him at the same time and with the same knife, or all three had stabbed him in turn with three knives.
It was just a simple matter of how one wishes to read into it what they wish to, nothing more nothing less.
For example, when one says a British soldier was gunned down by a group of insurgents, one does not necessarily mean that they all shot one bullet from each of their own individual guns, and all of the insurgents bullets killed the British soldier at the same time.
Get real.

/// why call them 'British passport holders'? why not call them Brits? ///
And why don't you read the link?
/// Three men – all British passport holders with Pakistani and Somali backgrounds – will appear in court this morning in relation to the incident. ///
Incidentally I chose not to call them 'Brits' because 1/ that abbreviation offends me, and 2/ if I had said they were from Pakistani and Somali backgrounds, I would have instantly been accused of bringing race into it.
I know the sort of persons you are.

Having a bad day at the office AOG?
You lot are not only pathetic but all so very predictable, in fact you are not worthy to be on a site such as this, seeing that you go out your way to be insulting, aggressive, and confrontational.
Really, I asked you a question and answered one of your questions ....you need to re-think who was 'insulting, aggressive, and confrontational' AOG.
