This is a curious incident. The player who this remark was apparently aimed at did not hear it. None of the Manchester United Players heard anything. And the linesmen and fourth official who are connected by radio did not hear the alledged remark. No TV cameras saw it.

But Chelsea have had a lot of bad publicity lately with the racist behaviour of a player and fans. This looks like an attempt to play the victim card, except no one at all believes the Chelsea version of event. And no one thinks Clattenburg make a racist comment.
