The lynch mob are out to get the Aussie DJs who made the prank call to the London hospital where the Duchess was being looked after. There is no way they were responsible for the nurse killing herself. That was her choice and any number of other factors may have driven her to do that. Agree?
I'd presume once the call was broadcast (I heard it on R4 on the day) the press would have hounded her out. Certainly the connection has been made at sometime between the call and the announcement of her death today.
Joko - didn't say my opinion mattered, was simply invited to express one by the OP. As for whether it was funny or not I only ask becasue I have yet to find anyone both at work and socially who found it remotely humouress let alone funny. The two DJ's will have to live with this and this will be very hard for them. Don't see it as punishment but it may make them think about possible consquences when planning pranks in the future.
BTW... I agree that the DJ's, although tasteless in their "Prank" are not to blame for the woman's death.
If they are then will we start making anyone that makes a discouraging comment to an already suicidal person responsible for the death of the suicidal person?
