Weapons Courses In The Usa

I just saw on the news that the Americans are sending their teachers on Weapons Courses so that they can protect their students.

I think this is complete madness or am I missing something?

The number of guns available to the public is the madness.

Yes I know, that is what I meant, the madness of trying to teach defence when there are so many guns legally available.

I think the US is completely mad in general... they shouldnt be investing in teachers gun training they should be investing in the safety of students... meaning more psychological help
