Personally, I think it makes a really beautiful 31 year old woman look like fairly attractive 43 year old woman...

she's a little thinner in the cheeks in real life, hence I can understand the young Edwina comment. (On that subject, it looks like she has something in her mouth).

It's not very good really. It looks like it has been caught mid way through a smile or part way through saying something.

The smile doesn't look as if it has reached the end!!

Oh well aas long as she likes it...

Totally agree that the Harry/William portrait is much better.

I've seen a larger picture of the Duchess of Cambridge painting and the best thing you can say about it is the hair is quite well rendered.

That's about it.

They've clearly caught the spirit of the age; a badly timed photo in low light which you wouldn't want your friend to upload to facebook because it makes you look a bit gurn-ey, but they do anyway.
