I saw this the other week, and whilst I thought the dog was wonderfully sweet, I didn't get the impression that the little lad was all that enamored with it, in fact to me, it looked like he's pushing it away most of the time.
Whoever let that continue has no idea how to look after children with disabilities, the poor child was getting quite annoyed and if he had lashed out and the dog had bitten him I bet he would have been blamed.
