Bit surprised he wasn't banged up straight away. Suppose his mitigation was that he pleaded guilty and that he hadn't caused anyone else to perjure themselves on his behalf and those elements spared him from custody. Not surprised at police thoroughness though. If they suspect you're taking the urine in a traffic case there seems to be no limit to their enthusiasm
