Media bullying is unfair but she's not helped herself by going on JK and talking so freely to the press. Nothing obviously should be done to her personally, it's too late now but if such benefits weren't so easy to get it might make some people stop and think.
As to the barren comment, totally irrelevant and shocking. Are you laughing because barren women would be jealous, same as the men who can't get it up either?
The kids may end up as high end taxpayers tambo....or then again, we may be building another 11 houses.
She went on tv after the media story to defend herself.

Maybe they're paying CSA if employed reasons for men not to work
She went on JK long before this story broke.
two of her brood have children of their own... it doesn't say whether either work.
I know she went on JK but that was nothing to do with her claiming benefits.
That i know but my point was if you put yourself on public view you are going to get flak.
it seems as though the newspaper went to him, as opposed to him seeking them out.
Am I right in thinking that the law changed and mother's on benefits get to keep the CSA money paid by the children's father(s) without it affecting the amount of benefits the mother gets?

In other words, even if the fathers are paying their contribution she would still get the same amount of money from the state.

Can anyone clarify?
I'm sure they did, em10, but a 'no comment' would have been sufficient.
perhaps it would have, and perhaps it doesn't please him no matter the circumstances of the split with the mother, we don't know the circumstances of that, he feels able to stay quiet,

fender, what gets me is that child benefit has been cut, for those who work, so are contributing to the greater good, i know it doesn't apply to all, but this seems patently unfair, and i would stop child benefits full stop, or tax credits, as i really think that children are your responsibility not the states.

So if the Government decide to fund the first three children...........?

What is Lord McAlpine raking in?
What has Lord McAlpine got to do with the OP?
Dunno craft, things are getting a bit strange.

/// em10 - you said the answer is to give her no more money. Without money the family would be homeless and starving. ///

Yes I suppose they were dying like flies pre 1946, even after 1946 one didn't get any money for the first child.

/// more than one father to this tribe, so where are they, why aren't they paying towards their children's keep.///

Apparently the secret is not to put the father's name on the birth certificate, then one can obtain support from the father (or fathers in this case) without it having any effect on one's benefit claims.
