I honestly don't see why we keep on interfering in other countries problems. It's not like we don't have issues of our own to sort out.
You could almost be forgiven for thinking that there's an ulterior motive for it.

Call me cynical but I think that arming rebels is all about gaining influence with them when they gain power.

If you give them British weapons during their fight who are they going to turn to when they take power?

If the concerns were truely humanitarian we'd be more interested in sending food and water and tents to the refigee camps than sending heavy artillary to the millitia

We're one of the worlds largest arms suppliers - we didn't get that way by accident.

If you supply military technology to people they need to maintain it with parts, and ammunition and train people on different systems if they want to change.

They also establish contacts and relationships with their suppliers

I have to agree Jake.

Unfortunately though most of these Middle eastern countries topple their leader and then head towards Islam. Being the little devil in the eyes of Islam it is hardly likely to work and we nothing but agro for our trouble.

It is about time this country realized we are no longer an Empire. Our time has come and gone, like the Romans the Mongolians and other 'rulers of the World' so we should now be stepping off the world stage and leaving it to those whose time has now come. We are NOT the Worlds Policeman nor should we be the Worlds Saviour.
