/// Speaking outside the six-bedroom house, which he shares, Salim said: ‘I came here because I listened to friends who said it was good to live her and claim asylum here. I don’t pay to live in this house.’ The terms of his asylum mean he is unable to work, but he attends college, where he learns English for free. ///

A six-bedroom house, which he shares eh?

I wonder who he shares the house with, more war criminals such as himself?

He's welcome to it in Handsworth oag.
Let's see. If I am a gangster abroad who shoots and kills members of a rival gang, I can flee to this country and claim to remain because I might be killed by the other side if I went back. No, apparently not; murderers of that kind are not protected. This man, however, can claim to remain.. I like the argument, accepted, by the lower tribunal, that he was in danger because he said he killed people but the tribunal accepts what he now says, that he didn't, and so he can't be refused. This delightfully innocent ruling means that all someone has to do is lie that they have killed, and they are thereby entitled to stay here. No wonder Judge Hanson rejected it, but it's worrying that any lower tribunal could not see the weakness.

Let's hope that the Home Office gets its way.
Having all these war criminals in our midst must make the public sleep safely in their beds at night. I've lost count of those misfits allowed to stay in this country without a thought what harm they could do to any one of us.
He might share the house with other war criminals, but it is unlikely.

Good that you have kept your question simple and not gone off on a rant about free houses and free education. Well done for being focussed this time.
