Whether I think they are guilty or not, I do not think it is fair to re try them, were they found innocent for acquited? But the poor dead girl needs justice too.
Extradition tends to be a one way thing with the Septics, theres more chance of me winning the euro-lottery millions (and I dont even buy tickets)than her being sent back to the Penne munchers
No new evidence em, as far as we know. The reasons for the retrial will be explained in a few weeks' time I believe. Plenty about it on the BBC website if you're interested. The Kerchers have welcomed it though.
i wonder at this, as they are not going to get Amanda Knox back, and even if they can try this case without her, what will it ultimately prove..
It was and still is a heartbreaking case, and whoever was responsible should rot in hell.
LB, perhaps, but i doubt very much if either defendant will be in attendance. so unless the prosecution have firm new evidence then i really can't what this will serve, but more anguish for the family of the young woman.
Society I cant see Amanda begging her lawyer to let her go:-(
Em here's a piece from the Huffington Post. We'll know more in 90 days.
Italy's Court of Cassation ruled that an appeals court in Florence must re-hear the case against the American student and her former Italian boyfriend for the murder of 21-year-old Meredith Kercher. The exact issues that have to be reconsidered won't be known until the court releases its full ruling within 90 days.
