Right. I'm sorry, but I thought the NHS was on it's knees and struggling?

This young lady had her breasts enlarged, at a cost of £4800, because being flat-chested was "ruining her life and causing emotional upset".

What?!!

Er... I'm not overly confident about the nose I was born with. Do you reckon I could go and see my GP and get them to sort it out for free?
I'm also not very happy with the tops of my thighs, and how they don't have that sought-after 'gap'. Do you reckon the NHS would pay for me have lipo, as it causes me emotional upset when I have to wear a swimsuit?

Apparently she is now going to pursue her dream and become "the next Katie Price". Good luck to her if she can achieve that, but should the NHS be forking out for this? I think not.

still a waste of money, breast enlargements shouldn't be done on the NHS, if you want them, pay for them.

Ummm, really? I've honestly always thought that people who got cosmetic surgery on the NHS did so by having other health issues with their 'problem'.
Like large breasts made smaller because of back ache and what not.
Why did she have a tummy tuck? Was it *that* bad?
Question Author
"not even the nhs could manage that one..... :-)"

Lol. No, I'd definitely have to go private for that one. Bupa maybe... :P
nasa possibly
Question Author
"So what if she had breast asymmetry? "

I'd say so bloody what!

Save it for the people that *really* need it.

Question Author
"nasa possibly"

Rude.

JTP...that depends upon how her "breast asymmetry" was affecting her life.

If you could convince me that she was suffering detrimental psychological problems in her life, then yes it may well be indicated.......but i might take a bit of convincing.

How does one measure "psychological impairment?"
What God has forgotten can be stuffed by cotton
"How does one measure "psychological impairment?""

Make sure you're booked in with a male doctor and cry. A lot.
but fair i like to think :-)
Evian...LOL....but don't try it with me.........LOL
Question Author
EB, that's the thing. I was just thinking about what Ummmm said, and if you're a good actress then surely it would be easy to say how badly this was effecting you. Few tears, no problem.

*phones GP surgery to make an appointment*
Question Author
LOL Sqad :)) Evian, definitely do NOT try it with Sqad!

Mccfluff, no. Rude. (said in a Miranda style voice, whilst looking to the side)

Whooooaahh !!!!!

What is wrong with her lips ????
She was probably quite pretty before she had all that done to her face.
-- answer removed --
Her face looks 'pumped' up.
Jake .....what a helpful post.

Must be in line for "Best Answer."
It would need more than big boobs to make her attractive, typical case of:

body off "Baywatch" face off "crimewatch"

Gap at top of thighs!!! looks dreadful in my opinion!!
Question Author
JJ, I don't think she's had anything 'done' to her face...? :-/

Jake, what are you prattling on about?

"And you take it at face value and believe it then you *do* need a brain transplant!"

I do believe the FACTS, yes. It has nothing to do with what paper it was in. Stupid comment.

"They make it sound as if she went in and had a bit of a cry and the GP said 'there there - have a boob job on the NHS'

People believe this sort of BS because they want to "

She was on Daybreak. She didn't exactly give 'good reason' as to why she so desperately needed this operation on the NHS. All she said was 'I feel I can go on to achieve my dreams of being a model now'.

Straight from the horses mouth...

RATTER

??Gap at top of thighs!!! looks dreadful in my opinion!! ??

;-)........speak for yourself.......
