Will it take the words of a Russian to wake up our security forces?

/// Security specialist Igor Korotchenko, claimed Britain has created a ‘ticking timebomb’ for allowing radicalised Muslims into this country.

It's hardly unusual to find one country objects to some of the folk living in another. I don't expect it to have much affect, the UK elite will make its own decisions.
// the UK elite will make its own decisions. //

The UK Elite ??? LOL.
What's the evidence that our security forces need waking up?
Nothing new there then! and they breed like rabbits!!
Daily Mail twaddle
i am not convinced it is twaddle, DM or not. Have you listened to the Chechen leader, he is mad as a hatter.
It'll be a sad day for our intelligence services when they need "wakening up" by the "intelligence" service of a country which has spectacularly mismanaged the insurrection in their own patch.

As far as can be ascertained the FBI did not "fail to heed" Russian warnings about one of the eventual bombers. In fact they asked for further information, having drawn a blank in their own investigations, and heard no more from them.

I think we are already aware of the threat of radical muslim terrorists in the UK. This is just an entirely predictable piece of opportunism by Russia, shamefully using the nationality of the Boston bombers to make an almost certainly spurious political point.

While I'm sure there are plenty of Islamic extremists who are enemies of Vladimir Putin, I'm somewhat skeptical of the idea that all enemies of Vladimir Putin are Islamic extremists...
perhaps they are, but haven't they been fighting them a long time.
yes they are mad as hatters but that doesn't mean that our security forces are not alert - are you saying that they have gone to sleep since last summer - me thinks not and actually it's a wee bit derisive to our MIs and police.
You can always rely on the daily mail...
i didn't say they had gone to sleep, i am saying that they have to step up the game. We have been the target from terrorists too many times, and i don't fancy another lot.
MI5 seem to be doing a pretty good job without help from the Russians right now

I wonder if Mr Putin could offer them some advice on how to prevent foreign security organisations from murdering people in the UK with radio-active Polonium
not if they pose as friendlies...
I'm sure he'd advise sending the potential victims to Russia to take care of.
I'm sure he would!

Perhaps we should think about why Putin is saying this.

Russia has fought it's own rather bloody battle in Chechnya which the international community was pretty damning about

This is Putin saying 'We were right'

And how did these so called 'foreign security organisations', get into our country?
One would have a really poor security service if it couldn't infiltrate other countries. Still if we can find loopholes I trust we close them as fast as we can.
//And how did these so called 'foreign security organisations', get into our country? //

Probably on diplomatic passports - what's your point?
Its not our security forces that need waking up it is our politicians and the right on liberal brigade. Coupled that with barmy ECHR judgements means we are left wide open
