It's a mystery as to what happened to that little girl, I can't believe the parents are carrying on their search for financial reasons, is that what you think madman?
Absolutely right Rob, let people see what a nice person you are.
" for financial reasons"

No. Not at all.

Rob, let it go. Now isn't the time.

Dr Shipman was adored by his patients, especially all the old ladies.
I hope she's still alive, but I doubt it, and I don't really understand why they're so convinced she is.
because no parent with a missing child would likely give up hope. Look at the parents of the missing girls in the US, one mother said she always believed her daughter was alive, it's something to hang on to, and unless there is a body, that is all there is, hope.
I hope so too, naomi.....the cases recently in Cleveland and those two in Austria and California give them hope; there was also some speculation that she may have been kidnapped to be held in a harem in N Africa or the M East, a massive premium for young white girls - even though there is some evidence that they still exist, but they why so young when an older girl could be targeted.

As to the financial cynicism on this thread, what a load of baloney that is. And yes, as to the McCann's negligence, their guilt etc must be a very heavy burden to bear and a punishment in its own right. And though they were mad to have done what they did, how many of us have left a child alone for a couple of minutes, maybe five or even ten. "He who casts the first stone........"
I must admit I am not totally convinced of the Mccann's innocents, I maybe wrong.
i learned only recently that we were left in the house, whilst the folks went off to the pictures, a neighbour popped in from time to time to keep an eye, we were all under the age of ten, i confess that i blanched at that info.
//because no parent with a missing child would likely give up hope. //

I understand that, but I really meant the authorities.

I don't think the 'financial aspect' is worth discussing. To suggest the McCanns are making financial gain from this is an insult.
