And, since there's no other evidence of wrongdoing presented, how is falling out of a car breaking the law?

Humbersloop, I was thinking the same thing, falling out of a car is not an arrestable offence, at least I don't think so.....
I'm surprised the Sun didn't run this story with the headline..."Scrape Me Up Before You Go Go"
lol, elvis.
//Is it better to have one of your loved ones killed by George Michael or a run of the mill drugged up scrote.//

Run that past me again, how is this going to kill someone - apart from the person falling out of the car?
smilliemillie "We do not know that man`s circumstances but we do know that GM has had chance after chance to get himself together" And do you categoriically or are you just basing your opinions on what you have read in the newspapers? I think it`s the latter.
respect and applause Elvis
lol! Elvis ;-)
I can`t be bothered to say any more but all I can say is don`t you just love the jugement by Daily Mail that we have in this country? Almost as bad as the judgement by the National Enquirer in the States ;-)
Why are people assuming that George Michael was intoxicated? Is there any evidence that he had consumed an illegal substance or are you just assuming he had because he has in the past?
I would also question why anyone is having a go at him for being involved in an ACCIDENT where he wasn't a driver of any vehicle.
-- answer removed --
I think it safe to say that if he'd been any combination of off his face as a passenger and/or illegal driver, we may have heard rather more about it than this
-- answer removed --
He may have been scrabbling around looking for a wet wipe or tissue having got something in his eye and hit the door handle instead of the glovebox release.
So him and his driver are driving at speed. His door isn't shut properly, he tries to open it a little bit so he can slam it shut, the wind blows the door open, he tries to grab it and falls out the car.

Maybe he should be hung, drawn and quartered for not wearing a seatbelt.
-- answer removed --
Only if the car was going a speed in reverse ummmm
^mercifully, they don't seem to be prosecuting his driver for that either douglas
The bit that made me smile was on the first page

He is a national treasure.
