I've just seen a Tweet from Darshna Soni at C4 news:

https://twitter.com/intent/user?screen_name=darshnasoni&tw_i=337310141156306944&tw_p=tweetembed

"I have just spoken a mosque in Essex, who told me congregation was attacked by man in apparent "revenge" for Woolwich. More details to come."

I can't really think of a question, sorry. It just seems topical, and if more info comes out about it I figured it might be interesting to discuss.

Extremists are the ones who go around thinking it's OK to kill people, and actually do so.

It's a wonder none on here has condemned the police for using unnecessary violence, I wonder if they asked these two pieces of scum to drop their weapons first?

So since we cannot yet read minds, we will then have to wait before they kill someone, before we then know who are the extremists? I see.

Reports are filtering through that these two were known to Security services, so there are ways of telling. Usually it's in what people say, how they act. If you're the sort of person who wants to commit such acts of violence someone#s going to notice.

The police in this have nothing to apologise for, so why condemn them? I expect they did ask the two men to drop their weapons first. But we don't yet know exactly what happened.
Since these morons were ' known' to security forces- why don't they arrest ALL known radicals as a potential terrorist threat? Or would that, too be against their 'human rights'? If that's not the law, then it should be....

The law for everyone is that you have to commit a crime before you can be arrested for it. If you want to live in a country that rounds up people for nothing, I think you should go and live in Saudi or Iran.
They must have been really pee'd off at being shot by a woman........

Pre-crime and thought crime don't exist in this country. Let us hope they never do, Matheous.
no, but i reckon that the two men were angling to be shot and killed, that would have made them martyrs in the eyes of the faithful. I am glad they weren't, because the police would have likely come in for another kicking, killing civilians, even though they were armed and clearly dangerous.
"how comes the specialist, trained armed police didnt manage to kill either of these pieces of filth?"
Think about it though, if they had been shot (which they may well have wanted) they could have been elevated to "martyr" status which would only have brought more nutters out of the woodwork.
which is exactly what i said above ^
