As a BMI challenged person myself I think she is spot on. It's not easy but she is ultimately correct. I've never deluded myself I know I must work to stay less than Elephantine, many however have a variety of excuses none of which exempt people from the basic laws of physics.

She's definately out of most people's 'attractive range' but I'm sorry the one with the mouth is not much more attractive - Skin and bones - yuck!
Interesting exercise:
1/ Look at the women modelling clothes that other women often want to look like.
2/ Look at women in (ahem) 'glamour' modelling that men ogle.
The second are generally much more curvy and heavier than the first.
Women's weight aspirations often have more to do with other women than men.
You're seeing this here - ' I'm better than you in every way because I weigh less'

I'm heavier than i'd like to be, and I agree with Kate Hopkins. I'm overweight because I eat too much food, most of it unhealthy and I don't exercise, as I'm sure this is the reason for 99% of fat people too.
Her points, which I agree with are perhaps confirmed by the 'model' as well who agreed she'd like to lose weight.

I'm the same as you, ummmm. Father and mother were the same shape when they married; despite having the same diet and the same amount of exercise (in fact he got more as he walked to work), he got fat, she didn't. I take after him in general looks and girth. Brother takes after mum. There's nothing new in the idea of "taking after your parents", though we now know more about genes.
That doesnt mean I have to be overweight. It does mean I'd have to exercise three times as much as a genetically thin person, to get the same result. I'm not being lazy or irrational if I conclude that it's not worth the time or effort.

this is a tough one as there's right on both sides - though i don't see why she has to be so rude and nasty about it, she has no right to be so cruel and judgmental - people are entitled to be any weight they choose.
No-one deserves to be abused for it!
that said, she is right about not teaching kids that its good to be obese - it isn't.
although being fat is acceptable, common and attractive for lots of people - its not ideal or the healthiest way - our bodies do not like to be fat.
its not how our bodies are designed to be - saying its all fine and actually desirable, just to save someones feelings could send the wrong message.
just because some people find something attractive does not make it good, or ok - especially if it is generally pretty unhealthy or even dangerous.
i accept that many people fancy overweight people, but then some people fancy the anorexic look too... and thats not ok either.
but then that brings up the other extreme of this body image isue - the unreasonable and unrealistic image of women, thats really far too thin and also sends a negative message to kids.
People fancy lots of things that most would consider odd - Some particularly fancy amputees and actively seek them out, and others deliberately remove limbs to become one! - does that make it good because some find it desirable?
you could take that further and say some naturally fancy children and animals etc, they can't help it ...doesnt make it ok... though thats going off point.
as with most things, somewhere in the middle is the best.
i think its great to be curvy, but there's a line where curvy is quite simply obese and the person is fooling themselves.
I once heard a girl - who was very obese, but very short - describe herself as 'petite' ... !
its an interesting debate because I agree with both sides really...
(probably because i am one of the unlucky people who is slightly overweight due to a medical condition)

...and then there is Lipoedema. A genetic condition where abnormal fatty deposits occur on the body, no amount of dieting or exercise will remove it and there's no cure for it either. Many doctors don't know it exists and lots of people have gone years without being diagnosed, just told to diet which doesn't work. So there are medical conditions that make people fat and this one from what I've read it one of the worst as medics don't always recognise it.
There is a difference between the very small percentage of fat people that are fat becsause of a medical condition and I don't think anyone, even Kate Hopkins, could possibly mean them when they say fat people and other fat people.
Medicaly it is NOT OK to be obese. Obese people are kidding them selves and just eat too much and don't exercise.
Fat parents with fat kids need to be shown what they are doing to them. They obviously feel it is their right to neglect their wellbeing and send them to an unessisary and early grave in this way.
Kate Hopkins is paid to say these things in the manner she does but to sugar coat it is simply pandering to the fat lazy people who, just because there are more and more of them and they think they have safety in numbers they, should be allowed to live in cucko land.
There are a multitude of shapes and sizes in the world and we do take some of our basic shape from our parents but other than dona fide medical conditions there is no excuse for being obese.
