I ask all those who wish to hand out a welcome to anyone who seeks a new life in Britain, is this the kind of squalor you wish these people to live in, because next year when the doors are fully opened this type of thing will only get worse.
So what is your answer?

According to the police, Romanian immigrants are responsible for the massive increase in cashpoint crime. There is no point in beating about the bush and denying it. Being 'PC' and denying there is a problem, isn`t going to get anyone anywhere. Some countries/cultures have a very strong work ethic and some, less so.
one couple interviewed are both working, and earn around 70 quid a day between them, so why don't they rent someplace. It may not be a fantastic amount between two of them, he is a labourer and she a waitress. It also doesn't clarify that he is working legally, i.e paying tax, insurance, if so that would cut it down somewhat. Squatting isn't the answer, and am surprised the police haven't moved them on. Of course where would they all go..
Doesn't the council have responsibility to help house homeless families?
Tiberius and Brittany, featured in the link, show a commendable work ethic. How else could they be described? They've travelled across Europe to work for low wages, live in a Bidonville, and all this in the face of prejudice.
We need more people of their calibre.

there are hundreds of thousand across the UK waiting for social housing homes, sitting on waiting lists for years in some cases, so why should any newly arrived get any kind of preferential treatment. The councils are not charities, anyone who arrives on these shores without accommodation already planned shouldn't expect to be housed.
lot more than i thought,
