Very brave man to help him, but why? He wont have any information and we mustn't invade his human rights when he wants to come to the UK on benefits so why not just blow him up? It's what he wanted after all.

I don't think they were ' helping' him exactly , they difused the bomb vest to take him into custody and interrogate him in case he's of use. I'm sure he's having a lovely time now with his new found 'friends'

Why would he want to come to the UK? The picture in the link did not appear to show even an ISAF soldier.

the man would have been blown to smithereens as well as the bomb disposal expert, you know this because of the level of life lost amongst those men who do this highly dangerous job
