It was all over the news and even got mentioned here on Answerbank several times, so yes, I noticed.
Also, there was no euphoria here over the tennis as it is a game I can't stand,I am getting heartily sick of seeing it mentioned even on unrelated posts/subjects.

Unpatriotic? I am constantly being told that he is Scottish, not British and definitely not English, therefore as a Brit/English person it would be impossible for me to be patriotic over his win. ;)
