Amanda Palmer Responds To The Daily Mail

WARNING: NUDITY AND THINGS IF THAT BOTHERS YOU.
So, in typical style for the up-market rag that it is (giggle), the Daily Mail chose to highlight a "malfunction" of Amanda Palmer's bra during her performance at Glastonbury. You can see it here:

Palmer has given a hilarious response to the Mail, which you can view here:
At risk of stating the blindingly obvious, doesn't this highlight the Mail's hypocrisy? And its shallow and rather self-righteous approach to journalism? Wouldn't we be better off without this putrid rag?

Obviously such newspapers much upset you and the likes of you that much that you find it necessary to keep attacking them, no one forces you to read them.
But there is much more to this isn't there? Yes it would just suit the likes of you, to remove this and all other free speaking journals from this country, so that your left thinking journals are free to spout your their agenda freely.

What freedom, exactly? The freedom to preach about pornography on one page, while fixating on Amanda Palmer's boob on another? The people who peddle such hypocrisy are quite simply a morally bankrupt bunch of hypocrites. Their opinions do not deserve respect.
I am not suggesting it should be banned (which seems to be the go-to situation for every problem in this country), I'm just suggesting it deserves its reputation and that its impact on society is a negative one.

This was under the TV and showbiz section of the Daily Mail, and if one takes any TV/Celebrity/and showbiz publication this is the type of thing one would expect.
The Daily Mail has numerous sections to cater for all readerships, perhaps they should include a communist section so as to keep everyone happy?
And if you think a glimpse of a female breast is to be classed in any way as pornographic then you must have a very narrow mind, you don't happen to live in the Middle East do you?

Fine, but if you are going to report on this kind of thing then frankly you forfeit your right to get on your high horse about nudity in broadcasting or on the internet. Incidentally, that's not something I do, but it is something the Daily Mail frequently does:

So no, I do not consider Amanda Palmer's boob to be pornographic. But the mail is quite willing to get on its high horse over hyped-up non-examples of pre-watershed nudity, but is willing to violate its own standards on its website.
