Marmite Advert Offends The Easily Offended.
Brilliantly funny advert for Marmite this week ::
But now there is a big fuss because 278 people have found it offensive apparently :::

Given that millions of people must have seen this advert, does anyone think that a mere 278 complaints is really representative of public opinion ? Are some people so sensitive that they are going to be offended by just about anything ?

Actually I have just watched the film clip again, and I missed it first time around, but the little boy right at the end doesn't look like a Marmite fan after all !
I can't think of many food products that have such self-deprecating adverts, but as Marmite still seems to be selling in respectable numbers, than it must be a case of any publicity is good publicity !

Saw this advert last night and both me and my partner laughed out loud - partly because until you see the first Marmite jar, we both assumed it was a genuine animal rescue add - it was nice to be fooled.
In fact, when it finished I said, "That's going to do well at next year's advertising awards".
So...I've not checked the link, and for the life of me...I can't work out what the complaints could be.
