Do You Belong To A Political Party?

Newsnight has just announced that only 1 per cent of us belong to a political party. Do you? Why? Do you know anyone who does? I used to belong to the Conservatives but that was only because my wife was an A-list candidate for the Party. She noted, with dismay, that most members, making the average, were women and well over 60. Odd to think that they were on selection committees for candidates, though she was selected.

Yes, and for many years, but a year ago, I changed my allegiance and joined another party. I will stay a member until at least May 2015 when we have the next Gen. Election.
