From the link:

Dr Javier Rius, the head of the hospital's department of obstetrics and gynaecology, said: "In my 40-year professional career I have never known of any case of a birth with this weight by natural childbirth".

// Blimey, it must be like a wizard's sleeve //

That is very poor taste CD. This is not an adult site, we have young readers.
God! I bet that stung! :o/

Why poor taste? I must be honest i don't know what a "wizards sleeve" is,or the context.

Could you explain?
Gromit...HOLD IT!....I have just Googled it......never heard the term before.
^

Sqad, lol.
Ouch - my nephew was 11 1/2 lbs when born 48 years ago and we thought that he was a whopper. Now a 6'2" beanpole!
nearly a stone ... i bet hubby's hand hurt if she was squeezing it

Ok then: It must be like a clown's pocket.

You're a Mod Gromit, wield your insurmountable cyber power and remove the post.
Question Author
BTW Gromit, if you're worried about 'young readers' being offended by the term, you really need to get out into the real world a bit more!
Ouch!
Wow, just wow!
Congratulations on a safe delivery mum Maxime, and welcome to the world baby Maria.
Do you use such terminology infront of your children or grand children?

Over the years I have recommended AB to several people, but if it descends into juvenile profanity, then I won't do in future. The fact that teens might use it, but a retired surgeon has not idea what it means, might give a clue to how unclever and unfunny it is.
Ouch!

Gromit, get a life.
at least the doctor didn't pull a rabbit out
ChillDoubt

Apparently, that baby's weight is around what a baby of three months should weigh.

I doff my cap to Ms Marin, although her quote of "I did not even need an epidural" seems a little bit like showing off...
Question Author
Gromit,
Juvenile profanity is invariably a common occurrence on this site, as you well know.
Get over yourself.
If it irks you to that extent, wield the light sabre of moderation.
Otherwise, stop whining like a new-born.
lol lol...............now then ladies :-)
How about this one then....

23lbs 12 oz
