Of course religion will be to blame. But please ignore the fact that most of these people do not attend church or particularly hold Christian beleifs. Feel free to derail this statement with some non-comment like 'Know all of them, do you?'

Its just a banner to stand beneath, a flag to wave, a reason to treat each other badly. If it wasn't religion it'd be something else; society is like that.

I have an old work colleague that always goes abroad for August, as the marching season can be dreadful. Its expensive but he says it better then staying in Ulster and watching this nonsense.

The rioting in uk cities year before last was certainly a knock on effect of total idiots rioting for the sake of rioting. There may be an element of this in Northern Ireland but I would imagine most (beleive) they have a cause

One does wonder if there are more sinister, criminal, reasons for this kind of behaviour. There have long been rumours about territorial wars over protection rackets, drug dealing and the like. How easy for these guys to hide behind a mask of sectarianism.

Funds must be running low in certain areas!

I live here as you know - and for some reason this year have been completely unaware of the blasted troubles.

I saw some bits on TV some weeks ago with the sound mute as I had visitors and I glanced and thought it was old TV - no it was recent - wish they would get together as one marching parade and drown themselves in the Irish sea and give us a rest as we are sick to death of it. So much sorrow and loss of life Live and let Live. PS - without these baskets - this is a lovely country with so much to give. Hangs head in shame!
