6 Answers
Just watching an interview with a protester. I assume they would like to be taken serously so why are they always represented by a complete hippy with half a pound of metal in their face and tough stickers everywhere? She sounded quite errudite but I don't know what she said for looking at all he scrap in her boat!

Dead right, AOG ! Not sure how the pink-footed goose could be affected; none of this destroys sites where they would be; but the complaint appears to be that no assessment was made. The company, according to TV news, said it did do such assessments. Would be a little odd if none were done, considering the assessments, including effect on the environment and archaeological ones, that developers are asked for in the normal course of events

That may be a valid point. Funnily enough, usually when people lie or try to trick me, the tend to look completely 'normal'. The fact that she did not look coventional may indicate she was not attempting to deliberately mislead.
