I wonder if this applies in Muslim schools in the UK? As I understand it, homosexuality is frowned upon in Islam. So are Muslim schools to get "special dispensation"?

Why should you think I have anything against homosexuality? Live and let live as far as im concerned. But why does it need promoting?? I dont agree that it should be forced on impressionable young kids!

Because promoting it could be seen as discriminatory to heterosexuality and vise versa, assuming that is what is being referred to in the OP. So you don't promote one above the other but consider them as equal.

Fair enough. And thank you. But, I did not say whether I agreed with it or no. Although I am homosexual, I was against lowering the age limit down to 16, as I could see opportunity for predators to strike on a less mature 16 year old and blame it on the victim. But, surely, in higher schools while there is a programme of sex education there, it cannot be wrong replying to pupils who ask questions about sexual orientation, and if the subject is broached, also fetishness, or be seen as promoting homosexuality or fetishness?! Or should we as a nation make it illegal for kids to even ask about such things!!

even under section 28 homosexuality could be discussed questions asked and answered. All it did was prevent the promotion thereof. Now it seems that not promoting it is not allowed.
