Do you know something we don't know?
After presiding over the slowest financial recovery in 100 years I think he needs one! :c)
Why? Plenty of parents raise their children without one.
For a moment there, I thought the Government had finally realised that Osborne is useless.
Thank God they did not name him George, Gideon Oliver. one is enough, or even one too many
No apparently the Royal couple won't be getting a nanny for George, that's what that quote means. Pretty easy to interpret the meaning and their intentions. Harder to make it into the opposite of what it means.
No need, is there? The grandparents, Charlie and Camilla are pretty much at a loos end. They'd be happy to have something to occupy their time.
loose, not loos, there ^

i cant do links, they have employed William's old nanny,
I think it'll be hard for them not to get some sort of childcare at times (for example, who was looking after him yesterday) Most parents need something sometime, even if it's just so they can have a night away, or an afternoon nap or whatever.
By "not getting a nanny" they probably mean they are not going to have a full time nanny (either living with them or living out) in the same way the queen mother did when her children were young
Is it wise for William to employ his old nanny? What will he do if she tries to send him to the naughty step?
lol wellt hat link just answered my questions
How do you think they are going to look after him and undertake their official engagements? Maybe you suggest they take the baby everywhere with them? I'm not a particular fan of the royal family but this pair can't seem to do right for doing wrong. Shame people haven't got more pressing things to be commenting upon.
So she's a baby sitter.

thanks for the link sandy.your a gentleman :)
No maybe not a Nanny as such but half a dozen footmen, parlours maids, boot boys, gardeners, and a Butler !
So, I wonder how the conversation went?

W: We're both going to be out on Thursday, whos going to look after George?
C: It's my Mum's Pilates class on a Thursday so she can't do it and Pippa isn't ready for one of George's nappies yet!
W: We could always get my old Nanny in to babysit while we are out, we know her and she only lives a couple of miles away. Just make the fridge is well stocked and we've got Alibi on the TV, she'll be happy.
C: Sorted.

Does this type of conversation differ from that any other new parents might have?
Good for them if they want to spend as much time with George as possible. Sure they can take George with them as most families do. Give them a chance, he's only 7 weeks old and they just want to be a family.
Will they qualify for the new child care allowance, or is their income too high???
