All those Muslim ladies and not a Niqab in sight, but notice their non tolerance towards the other Miss World contest.
/// Meanwhile in Bali, the mainstream pageant was subject to protests by hard-line Muslims within the world's most populous Muslim country, even though organisers relented and agreed to cancel the bikini round. ///
/// Moreover, its final - held on 28 September - was due to take place in Jakarta, but it has now been agreed that the whole pageant will take place in Bali, a Hindu-majority island, where armed police are on high alert following warnings that the contest could be a target for terror attacks. ///
/// The British Embassy said that 'local Islamist vigilante groups have threatened to hold large-scale demonstrations to disrupt the Miss World pageant', adding 'extremist groups may also be planning to attack the
event'. ///

Literally...I can't work out the angle here.
But I'll have a go...
1. You're correct...not a niqab in sight.
2. Are you saying that the contestants are non-tolerant? What? Just by holding an alternative beauty contest?
There...done it.

Thank you mccfluff & Fusion5 for making your comments, and adding to a debate.
What got me about this whole affair was the fact that when they come to this country some choose to cover their faces, also the fact that we would never be allowed to hold a contest that disallowed Muslims from entering, neither would they need armed guards to protect them if they were to hold their contests in this country.

/// lol...that was posted in CB. ///
What difference does that make, if you can't figure out what to debate, when someone entered a thread in the News section, perhaps you would be better sticking to what you know best.
Only a suggestion, but please don't be nitty picky on others threads, if you don't want to join in.

I give up some of you simply amaze me.
Not one comment regarding the non wearing of the Nigab when it has been a topical subject all week regarding the wearing of it necessary for their religion.
No comment about the intolerance toward the other Miss World contest, along with fear for the safely of our own girls who are taking part in that contest,
And no comment against the fact that they are allowed to exclude those not of their faith, yet we are expected to embrace their religion.
There you are something to debate surely?
And that is even a question.

Wrong Wrong Wrong
/Not one comment regarding the non wearing of the Nigab when it has been a topical subject all week regarding the wearing of it necessary for their religion./
Everyone understands that only a tiny minority of the world's muslim women choose to wear a niqab
/No comment about the intolerance toward the other Miss World contest/
There is no problem with anyone creating an alternative to something when there are aspects of the existing product that they take issue with
/And no comment against the fact that they are allowed to exclude those not of their faith, yet we are expected to embrace their religion./
Several of us have posted 'Christian only' competitions
And how exactly is our 'embrace' of islam expected?
