This made me remember and old guy who used to have a sandwichboard saying "eat lest meat ,it causes lust ..." and carried on in that vein ,he had a hand bell and used to roar out his message too. This was about 40 years ago in South Harrow !
Bet he would have been in trouble too re the above !
There's one regularly outside Stamford Bridge on match days. I find it comforting that Blues fans are such committed Christians in word and deed that nobody complains.
Fred, Blues fans mean Birmingham City fans to me, and they certainly need .............. well you know !.

It seems to me from this that the ones causing the trouble were those who obviously were objecting to this man preaching his faith, he was no more causing an obstruction than the sculpture he was standing in front of.

One may not always agree with what a person is preaching, but once upon a time in this country one was free to speak it.

What I did notice however was the fact that the preacher remained calm and polite at all times, which was more than could be said for his attackers.
AOG - the problem is, as I pointed out - if one person is shouting, other people will shout objections, and the shouter shouts to defend himself, as happened here - and the whole thing escalates.

The preacher must take responsibility here. Free speech does not entitle you to shout 'Fire!' in a crowded theatre we are advised, and similarly, it does entitle you to shout about your faith to a disinterested and eventually hostile audience.
