I hope not. The debate is presumably going to get much more intense over the next year -- and it's clear that there's going to be a nasty element to it of scaremongering, from both sides.
I doubt it, but for how long would a temorary reduction be anyway.
Seveal commentators have suggested we do the same in England/Wales, too , and they might consider it I suppose.

I have not seen a recent poll result on Scottish Independence - Last time I saw one it was something like 2/3 - 1/3 against independence, so I doubt an initiative on fuel bills would be sufficient to sway the result.

I always thought Rab C Nesbit was an ideal candidate for any political position in Scotland ! At least they can understand him north of the border !
