How much more rubbish are they going to inflict on us in the name of charity?

Do people actually go out and buy this sentimental slush?

Why are we happy to sing about people getting blown to bits?

I'm so glad I didn't say they sound like a cat's choir that needs drowning!

I take my hat off to those who buy this record out of family duty or someother misplaced loyalty. A direct donation would be more beneficial......in so many ways!
its was me who was 9, not trigg's child - just in case anyone was confused
Perhaps we could donate to make them not sing? lol
cheers Ummm, that's the brute :o)

Fluffpot, I did wonder!

Daffy, good idea.

I've now got that awful tune of 'grandma we love you' as an ear-worm now.

If folk want to buy it, then fair do's, but I'd rather keep putting my money in the poppy collection-tin.

Where do I send the Cheque? ^^^^^^^^^^^
@Just-Jude

so whats your problem ?
the song or the fact that its for a charity for people that have actually supported and died in an awful lot of cases, for this country

do you support some of the rubbish thats thrown at us every year on red nose day, god knows how much of that money gets chucked overseas

Question Author
Baz, I support both good causes. A lot of the money that's "chucked" overseas gets better spent than it does at home!

What is this site coming to when a person is allowed to say that a group of children singers might sound better if they are "STRANGLED" and that is acceptable, but when a person such as myself calls for action to be taken against such a person their post is removed?

I am beginning to wonder why I continue to post on this site, it gets worse.

Did I miss something?
AOG

Illegitimi non carborundum

Keep in there.

AOG, I'm sorry your post was removed. Moderating isn't an exact science, so no one is to blame.

I've been called a lot worse on here and elsewhere, it's the price I pay for being a popular contributor.
I missed AOG's post which got removed, so didn't see it and therefore can't comment on it, but surely you knew whoever said children should be strangled meant it as a joke AOG? You did...right?

No I am sorry Boo but I don't find such things amusing at all, if they were meant in humour they were at least in bad taste, taking into consideration some of the horrible things that have happened to children recently.
And also to criticise children for doing something for charity, especially this one has only to be congratulated.

Just think that the money raised will go in some instances to all those little children who proudly watch their beloved dads go out the door but never to return, and for those who did return but not the man they once were.
I'm always amazed at how some people are determined to be offended by the passing remarks of others.
I'd still sooner bung them a fiver to shut up!
B00, he called Jude 'scum', which was really uncalled for.
If you really think any of us would actually strangle children then you have obviously failed to pick up the humour in the posts.
