Have you had any problems / damage from the big storm . It didn’t touch us hear ( York ) except for a bit of rain

lots of heavy rain and wind but not too bad here in West Berks.

nuffink in outer North London but apparently there are trees down a couple of miles away.

Was it all a storm in a teacup then,apparently there are around 50,000 people without power as of this morning,so must have been really bad somewhere.

Loads of damage in Sussex, trains and docks were closed here. 2 people dead that I have heard of.

The wind didn't really seem to get up around here (Suffolk) until 0745 and it had died down by about 0915. However we've still got no trains running 'until further notice':

Thankfully we escaped most of it here in the East Midlands. Poor people caught up in all this, though. Hope you are all safe who live in the worst affected areas?

Been a mixture of sun and showers here in Rotherham.

West London. Carnage. Fence panel blown over and smashed ceramic pieces beside house. Relaxed when I realised the chimney bits must be next doors and the fence is also neighbour responsibility.......

We've got a few trees and fence panels down, in Bucks. Woke up this morning to no electricity, heating, hot water, phone lines down. Only came back on at 12:30.

The storm seemed to pass mainly over the southern part of the country. There were several very large trees down in the park this morning,and its still fairly windy.
