The Scottish proposal would bring their drink-drive limit into line with most other European countries (irrespective of whether those countries are in the EU or not). The sooner it is adopted throughout the whole of the UK the better.
The 'Euroflush' proposal relates to a standard for manufacturers of WCs to be able to use an 'eco-label'. It's entirely voluntary and, as such, makes a great deal of sense.
The Court of Appeal often sits its only to announce decisions that have already been made, with the detailed reasons for those decisions following in printed form at a later date. As such, any broadcasting of the proceedings is likely to leave the public confused as to why the Judges came to their decisions, potentially reducing public confidence in our legal system.
