Stage diving - a bit of fun...not necessarily dangerous. Lighting rig diving - extremely dangerous. Very stupid could've done a lot worse than breaking someone's arm. Could've put someone in a wheelchair for life. If I was the injured party, I think I'd probably sue (him and the venue) but as for the chances of him being charged with endangering life - I don't...

If I was the injured party, I think I'd probably sue (him and the venue) but as for the chances of him being charged with endangering life - I don't think that would succeed.

An artist having a great gig must develop a feeling of invincibility, which rapidly overcomes any standard thoughts of safety for self and others, hence the action which no sane sober person would undertake.
I am sure he has learned, and will not listen to those little demon voices in future.
