Hyperbole or prophecy?

What can the CofE do to attract more young people?
Is it's problem that it's outdated? Or that it's trying to be too 'modern'?
Or something else?

Fred, but the Jews don’t reproduce at the same rate as Muslims - and, unlike certain factions within the Muslim community, Jews have no ambition to dominate. As for the maths, if the current trend continues, however long it may take, eventually it's inevitable that the number of Muslims in this country will exceed the rest of the population. Work it out.
Mikey, I'm not Xenophobic - but I'm quite good at sums. You keep banging on about common sense, but your ability to apply simple logic is clearly lacking. Where's the common sense in that?

Let's make certain assumptions, Jayne: the Muslims represent 5% of the population; the population of the UK is somewhere above 60 million; all Muslim women are of reproductive age (they aren't but let us say so); half of the Muslims are female; the birth rate among non-Muslims is low enough that they only produce enough children to keep their population level. At what point do you predict that one and half million women will produce enough children themselves and through their female descendants when they, in turn produce children, to produce more than thirty million people?
And all that is dependent on another assumption, that their birth rate will remain at the same high level throughout.

Fred, I'm Naomi, not Jayne. I make no prediction. I'm simply saying that if current trends continue, it stands to reason that the number of Muslims in this country will eventually exceed the number of non-Muslims. As I said to SP, I'm relying upon our wicked western ways to remedy that - and I think it will - eventually. ;o)
What do you mean "what" ?
You said I was not good at sums and I replied saying that I wasn't as good at sums as Fred. He has clearly and concisely made the case that your perception of the future population of Muslims in Britain is far-fetched, with which I agree.
I think that we all have to agree to disagree on this issue.

There's an interesting article. You may find it cheering, Naomi, particularly the bit about better education.
