Headline news on Sky, this weekend is expected to be the busiest shopping weekend this year. Who'd'a thought it, do they make this stuff up?

I think it's just wild speculation on their part.
and every year they tell us a tale of woe about how sales are down..........and then lo and behold they tell us of the last minute rush and how well all the retailers ended up doing....every year same ole same ole
yes, but these last-minute surges don't just happen; they have to be manufactured. There's some panic selling going on out there - 30% off clothing at M&S today, for instance. Plus of course the internet's biggest selling day was probably a week ago, because of delivery dates. So the news story isn't just same old same old.
